Striped Purse WIP (Update)

Okay so this is what it's looking like so far. Most of it is pinned at the moment. (Excuse my man hands)



I still need to:
-Sew the right seam
-Finish the rim
-Sew the strap to the side seams

It should be done by tomorrow afternoon or so.

New Bag On The Way

I have alot of chunks of fabric that aren't big enough to make anything wearable so I'm making a small bag!

I'm just sewing the lining and the outer fabric together now. I'll be done in a couple days hopefully.

Hey everybody, I'm Katt. High school student. Horse nut. Fashion junkie. Amateur designer and seamstress. Minor annoyance.
The purpose of this blog is to basically keep track of all my creations and showcase them because, I'm not going to lie, I'm proud of myself for not being lazy.

I've been sewing for about a year now and my motivation has proved limitless. I really like doing reconstructions of old clothing. I've created some pretty rad stuff from old t shirts. Dresses, bags, pants, skirts, you name it, I've probably created it from a t shirt. Last week I got a whole bunch of fabric scraps of varying sizes from a friend and I've just been going nuts and sewing like crazy. So far I've made two bags and working on my third. I will post pictures in my next post.

Well, that's my introduction, a somewhat lame one but oh well.
